世界建筑节（WAF） 主办方宣布第十届会议主题：“表现”。
本次建筑节将于11月15-17日在德国柏林竞技场举行，会聚焦于主题“建筑表现”。这将包括几个新增加的游览活动，包括参观 Hans Scharoun 的柏林爱乐乐团，Gerhard Spangenberg 的 Radialsystem V（这里原是个水泵站，现已改造成一个现代舞及音乐会场），以及 Frank Gehry 最近完成的 Pierre Boulez 音乐厅。
在谈到2017年的选择时，WAF 项目主任 Paul Finch 表示：“今年我们将研究建筑中所涵盖的多方面表现，包括美学、技术、经济和心理。我们将讨论为演出而设计的建筑，例如剧院和音乐厅，以及建筑物在城市本身的生活和景观中所扮演的角色。”
回看 Franz Ahrens 的柏林竞技场，2016年的世界建筑节的出席人数达到了前所未有的高峰，活动举办三天内就有超过2300建筑师和设计师到访。今年的 WAF 主办方期望能在2016年取得的成功上更创新高。
若想报名角逐 WAF 奖项，在4月27日前仍可获得报名费早鸟优惠。最后报名截止日期是5月28日。参赛单位若提交3分或以上的方案更可获得75折报名费优惠。

World Architecture Festival Launches Manifesto for the Architectural Profession
The World Architecture Festival has announced the launch of the 10th edition of the event referred to as the "Oscars of architecture" by launching the "WAF Manifesto," which identifies key challenges the profession will face over the next ten years.
